Resolved - iFastNet has investigated the issue and was able to identify the issue as being a database access issue. That issue has been fixed for all accounts yesterday, and all affected databases are now visible again. Data integrity was not affected by this issue.

Investigating - We are investigating reports of databases disappearing. The issue primarily seems to affect new websites using WordPress installed through Softaculous.

Databases appear to be going missing, both in the members area and control panel, as well for the website itself, causing the error “Error establishing a database connection” in WordPress.

This issue seems to have started around the 29th of 30th of September.

The exact nature and impact of the issue is unclear at this time. It’s unknown if the integrity of databases is affected.

Resolved - The issue should now be resolved. This should have occurred around 14:00 UTC. As far as we can tell, data integrity was not impacted by this issue.
 (18 Sep - 18:52 UTC)

Investigating - We received confirmation that the database issues are caused by hardware failure. Which exact database servers are affected, what the expected restoration time will be or whether this affects data integrity is unknown at this time.
 (18 Sep - 13:56 UTC)
